STATLAS contains hundreds of authored maps that demonstrate accurate cartographic
representation of the updated statistical data. It is also a map-making system that can take
advantage of the full range of functionalities including cartographic, GIS, and statistical
tools to visualize and manipulate the data in your own way.
STATLAS is
intended for business as well as government and private institutions and
can be used as an interdisciplinary research tool. As an integrated teaching
tool it will be ideal for all
conventional forms of teaching and learning, offering particular support
for project related
and individually regulated work.
Apart from being able to produce high-quality maps displaying the data you choose you will be able to analyse data with the analytical tools (Statistical, GIS etc.).
